Section A: TV Drama: Exam practice

Click here to see examples of extracts for you to practice your exam technique. You should work through these as revision over the Easter holidays and must submit at least one exam practice (The extract from 'Primeval' below) on the first day back, Monday 15th April.

Remember the format of the question is always the same - only the bold underlined word is subject to change.

Discuss the ways in which the extract constructs representation of AREA OF REPRESENTATION using the following:
- Camera shots, angles, movement and compositon
- Editing
- Sound
- Mise en scene

You should follow up each class exam practice with at least one of these, so that you can a) act on your EBIs and b) practise writing TONS under the pressure of timed conditions! (4 screenings - Take notes on screenings 2-4 only and then 45 minutes to write the essay)
